Today we announced our unaudited results for the first half of 2024. Our core product, Dynamic Holiday Packages (DP), remains the primary engine of our Group, counterbalancing a softer-than-expected H1 2024. As our CEO Luca Concone commented: “The results of the first half of 2024 confirm our strategic decision to focus on our core product, Dynamic Holiday Packages. Our proprietary DP technology - paired with a vast inventory and supply, exclusive Fintech solutions, and the regulatory advantage of being one of the few fully licensed European Tour Operators - makes us stand out in the competitive OTA sector. ✈️ Wizz Air’s new All You Can Fly membership is a great illustration of my 5 components for success in susbscriptions. 1️⃣ A simple high value hook: ✅ unlimited flights 2️⃣ Unlimited is rarely unlimited: ✅ 3 day booking window limits opportunity cost ensuring seats are mostly distressed inventory 3️⃣ Don’t forget the popcorn: ✅ extra payment required for bags and onboard spend 4️⃣ Flexibility to finesse: ✅ launched at an ‘introductory price’ making it easy to adjust pricing to meet demand / usage in year 2, and limited to just 10k members 5️⃣ One time to every time: ❌ no one’s perfect… currently only offered through a separate site. Integrating into the one time booking journey could increase uptake and lock-in customers The product has sold out just a few days after launch. I Want My Time With You.🕰️ Recently, I found myself back in the UK. It’s just a quick Eurostar away from Brussels. Every time I take that train, I’m reminded how much better it is than flying: no stress, just comfort and speed to some of the most vibrant cities in Europe. While passing through St. Pancras station, something stopped me in my tracks: a glowing sign that read, "I Want My Time With You." It was such a simple phrase, but it hit me hard. Time, after all, is our most valuable currency. It got me thinking—how do we truly value time, especially when it comes to our teams? 🤔 Whether it’s waiting between meetings or rushing through a meal between flights, time should be spent meaningfully, not wasted on inefficiencies.
