I’ll be presenting at the Jersey Productivity Conference in a few weeks and I have a great process map to share which gives an insight into public sector waste and how it affects the social sector. The first step to change is realising what the process is and how much the waste costs. There is so much we can do if we have the data and the motivation to improve.

4moThe importance of cutting waste in public service institutions cannot be overstated! Efficient use of resources not only ensures that taxpayer money is spent wisely but also enhances the effectiveness and reach of essential services. By reducing waste, we can allocate more funds towards critical areas such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure, ultimately improving the quality of life for all citizens. In this light, I strongly support Brian Butler ‘s upcoming talk on this subject at the Jersey Business Productivity conference 2024. His insights and strategies are vital for driving change to a culture of accountability and efficiency within our public institutions.
