To all my connections that are design professionals ( architects, interior designers, engineers) What are the biggest challenges you face when dealing with a client? What would improve the transition from inquiring about design services to execution of a project? How much time could you save with a more educated, prudent client?

I’m helping homeowners and commercial builders keep their projects on budget and on time. Let’s talk about your project!
In our post-COVID world, we’re seeing many shifts in the construction industry for both residential and commercial projects. This year, two major pain points are related to the labor shortage and increased pricing. The industry is having to revolutionize some of their practices to keep up. (Report – Deloitte, Trends to Watch – Exploding Topics). What does that mean for homeowners and business owners? More expensive projects, expanded timelines, and decreased customer service. That’s where Brian Cavaliere of Cavaliere Consulting comes in.

This is a great example of the type of thinking that will move us in a more sustainable direction when given the chance on construction and development projects! I have had the opportunity to construct a number of storm water management systems. Some of the hurdles of these systems an be easily overcome with proper planning and value engineering to help offset the cost when presented to the owner of a project!

This is a great point! I find that most of those excuses go away when you manage to an up to date realistic schedule, and contracts are solid on the back end. Never hurts to give your field team a fighting chance! #cavaliereconsulting

A job will take exactly as long as you let it and if you allow the parade of excuses that abound on a jobsite it will take forever. "But nothing in the schedule is relying on us finishing the siding." "We could finish our electrical rough but, the plumber still won't be ready to close walls" The more work you put in place the more schedule risk you mitigate by eliminating material shortages/availability issues, quality control problems, design issues, labor shortages, inspection delays, etc. Put work in place anytime you can. #Generalcontracting #Constructionmanagement #realestatedevelopment #Constructionscheduling

I have used this pella product in the past on a project. Extremely high quality system, smooth function, heavy duty doors. The ability to have the threshold flush with the finished floor allows for an amazingly seamless flow from inside to out!
Throw back Thursday!!! Our first pocket door install 5 years ago. Customer absolutely loved the finish result.
