In the past I have been accused of being a job hopper. and it's true. I just can't seem to find that special group of people. I have met many great individuals along the way though. While some may see this as a weakness, I see it as my greatest strength. I have seen a lot. Done my fair share. Interacted with all kinds of people in all kinds of different roles. Different metals. Different Industries. Different Setups. Different processes. At one of my past jobs I was being considered for a promotion. My company needed to replace me so they brought in a new machinist. This machinist had 25 years experience at the company that laid him off. So, as they do, they set him loose to see what he could do. He washed out in a day and a half. Left at lunch. The reason behind this is that he saw only one thing. One type of material. One industry. Set up the same thing day after day and thought he was the best machinist in the world. So, when you see a machinist with a lot of jobs? I wouldn't view that as a negative if I were you. If you really want experienced people that is.
