At #EMSOW, we know the importance and complexity of cardiovascular testing and interpretation. Therefore, we optimized our platform for cardiological exams such as EKG and Echo US. With its extensive customization capabilities for reporting and patient studies data exchange, EMSOW empowers cardiologists to provide their patients and referring physicians with the most precise and rapid Echo results. The following features will help cardiologists in their daily routine. EMSOW built-in #DICOM Viewer supports specialized cardiovascular functionalities, such as measuring the aortic and mitral valve areas. The Study Quality Rules module provides a way to create restrictions that must be satisfied before studies are sent for reading.. This module prevents such mistakes as an insufficient number of images in a study, the absence of certain DICOM modalities (e.g. structured reports), and the absence of certain documents that should be attached to the study. #Cardiology #PACS #Viewer #Cloud #MobileUS #MobileXRAY #Radiology #Portabledignosticimaging #Operations #Workflow #Billing #RCM https://lnkd.in/eVG5cV4r

📢 Are you going to #ECR2024? Don't miss this incredible opportunity to do some cvi42 hands on sessions and join the ECR workshops! In collaboration with #Siemenshealthineers. Register here before it gets fully booked! Cardiac MRi and CT Hands-on Workshops - ESR | European Society of Radiology (myesr.org) General information: The aim of the Cardiac CT and MRI hands-on workshop is to provide advanced information (ETC II+III) about the most relevant topics in cardiac imaging like myocardial ischaemia, cardiomyopathy and inflammatory diseases of the myocardium and pericardium. Participants will learn how to report CT and MRI exams in different clinical settings, acquiring specific skills to be used in clinical practice. Participants will work on typical and atypical clinical cases reflecting the most frequent diseases in a clinical routine. According to the topic, mainly CT and MRI cases will be added with the support of other modalities like nuclear medicine, ultrasound and angiography. Participants will also approach the use of specific reporting systems like CAD-Rads for coronary artery and specific structured reports for other diseases. The workshop will be interactive since participants will be asked to report the exams, and reports will be discussed with the faculty. Anne HUI SZE KWONG

📌 Case number 5️⃣: Patient: 57-year-old female complaining of a painless swelling within right anterior proximal forearm for the past 2 years, now with mild pain. 🔍 Ultrasound Findings: Appearance: a subcutaneous cord-like structure with multiple itraluminal calcifications with Posterior acoustic shadowing . Doppler: Demonstrated monophasic venous flow. 🩺Diagnosis: Phleboliths Phleboliths are small, round calcifications within veins, often found in the pelvis. They form as a result of blood clot calcification and are typically benign. I recently came across a similar case shared by Dr. Gonzalo Serrano-Belmar here on LinkedIn, which was incredibly insightful and aided in my diagnosis. Thank you for the valuable content, Dr. Serrano-Belmar!
