What's the secret to nailing interviews?💼 There are three, actually.🔍 And you're mere moments away from uncovering them.⏳ Shall we begin?👇 First, it's preparation. Anticipate the questions and know your answers. Develop compelling stories to illustrate your skills and experiences. Understand the company, its culture, and the role inside out.🎯 Second, it's self-awareness. Be clear on your strengths, weaknesses, achievements, and failures. Remember, authenticity resonates.🔮 Last, it's communication. The point isn't to spout rehearsed answers, it's about engaging in a genuine conversation. Speak clearly, maintain eye contact, and listen actively.🗣️ There. Three secrets to nailing interviews. Simple? Yes. Easy? Not necessarily. But they can be mastered, with time and practice. Go knock them dead!💥
I'll never understand why candidates do zero research on the company, and their only question is about benefits or hours. I immediately tell such a candidate they are not moving forward in the interview process due to lack of preparation for our meeting, and advise them to better prepare in their job search.
When it comes to preparation - back up answers with tangible examples, and know your numbers.
The way you do this is focusing on your stories right. How did you influence situations, what was your impact, what was the scope and scale of your role, explain the complexity, what are your SOPs and how are you continuously improving, are there opportunities for peer help… Definitely a great start Brian Miller!

7moThat's true! Being confident during an interview is a key to succeed, and thorough preparation to the interview will boost it up. I remember my first interviews when I was quite well prepared but doubted my knowledge a lot and the result was not satisfying. Then I changed the strategy and tried to be more self-aware and confident, even though it was sooo scary, but that was a game-changer!
