In approximately 6 months. Will be looking for an Internship in Finance basically anywhere in the country and abroad for 3 months of length and come back to Los Angeles for a career in Internal Audit. Trying to finish Intermediate Accounting I, II and III courses and then look for internship. Poland, France, New Zealand, etc. Minnesota, New York, Rhode Island, Idaho, Pheonix, Arizona etc. Working to get through the Intermediate Accounting classes after done with those hoping to finish the last term of school same time internship. Working on businesses everyday while finishing school! Will start my Masters Degree next and continuing scaling businesses daily. Be looking for internship in approximately 6 months when come back from Japan. And if don't find one while finishing the Bachelors last term can look while doing Masters Degree. After the Masters Degree may go to Engineering school directly next to make tons of applications for businesses. Thankful and blessed… On August 23rd, I completed a 15-week summer internship with Pioneer Music Co. The growth and mentorship I experienced far exceeded my expectations. During my time as an intern, I had the opportunity to dive into almost every aspect of the company's financial and accounting processes, allowing me to contribute in meaningful ways. My biggest takeaway was understanding the critical importance of efficiency through a solid cash conversion cycle. Here are some of the key projects I worked on that led me to this insight: - Sales Tax Analysis: I assessed the company's sales tax exposure across all U.S. states by analyzing raw sales data. I provided state-specific solutions to support both current and future growth. Additionally, I educated the accounting team on integrating automated sales tax software to ensure future compliance. - Process Mapping for Cross-Training: I mapped out the accounting department's processes and tasks into a learning management software, streamlining cross-training and expediting the onboarding process for future employees. This experience gave me a new take on training and allowed me to better understand the nuts and bolts of a company’s accounting team. - Warranty Process Optimization: At the start of the summer, I was tasked with optimizing the newly created Return to Vendor process. Over the course of the internship, I developed a custom process to collect credits for warranty items which was documented and is currently being used. - Financial Package & Budgeting: Collaborating with Brock Gandy, I helped create a new companywide financial package used to evaluate branch performance and assess the company's health on a monthly basis. We also developed new company budgets and integrated a companywide compensation plan, contributing to a more predictable cash conversion cycle for future planning. These projects were incredibly rewarding and deepened my understanding of key performance indicators.
