Creating a call for housing in the noise. Asheville just recorded record high housing prices. The US just recorded record high median housing prices. You are experiencing record high housing prices. Thus, we are all experiencing something new. Yet the answers are found in history. - Let landowners maximize their land. - Reduce regulations even while maintaining quality and aesthetics - Maximize the creativity of the market - Let the local community create local naturally affordable housing. In Asheville, encourage land use for homes to be built between $500k-$700k. In Lee County, encourage land use for homes to be built between $300k-$500k. This practice is the experience of most small towns across America. Large buildings on the corners, small livable streets just behind. Let’s do it again.
