On the Butterfield Blog: Are We Changing the Definition of #CX to Suit Ourselves? Customer Experience (CX) used to be defined as everything related to a business that affects a customer’s perception and feelings about it. This definition placed the emphasis on the customer's feelings and perceptions.  Here in early 2024, McKinsey says: CX, or customer experience, encapsulates everything a business or an organization does to put customers first, managing their journeys and serving their needs. This definition shifts the primary focus to the actions an organization takes. While it does mention customers' "journeys" and "needs" it does not include feelings and perceptions...
