I have been recruiting in the nonprofit sector for more than 10 years. In many cases, I have seen a disconnect between the salary that an organization is offering and the true current market value for a position. This generally leads to a lengthy, and many times frustrating, hiring process. I thought it would be beneficial to share examples that I see from time to time. Organizations will get a better sense of the true market value of these roles and candidates will get a clearer understanding of their worth in the market.
