Shamelessly dropping this on my feed! Hope the Comm's team isn't mad that I broke the story before it hit our Spire page! 😂 🤣 😂 To be serious for a minute, as employers and talent professionals we need to help the job-seeking public with awareness on employment scams. Ours is not unique - there are many going around right now, leaving victims in their selfish wake. In the last 5 years this is my THIRD experience with a recruiting scam involving my at-the-time employer. Everything about this scam mirrors the previous two, with the addition of virtual communication tools to aid the scammer this time. These ruses prey on the vulnerability of the job seeker at a time when they need hope and change, not disappointment and deceit. If you don't have it already, add some info on your career site warning of recruiting scams and how job-seekers can spot them. #moralminute #stopthescam

We recently learned that someone was impersonating us at Yoko Consulting (we're flattered 😊) in their attempt to run an employment scam (less flattered 😠). From what we can tell, they reached out to hundreds (maybe thousands) of people and invited them to interview with "us." Turns out this is a very common scam - if you're company is being impersonated, we wrote a quick guide "How to Stop Employment Scams Impersonating Your Company or Organization" to help others know what to do if they find themselves in the same situation we did. Hope it helps someone! https://lnkd.in/eaaSKtsr
