It was a hot one today - the Electrical Lineman Program students were out in the weather getting cross arms up on the poles - and learning the finer points of balancing on the pole while curling heavy beams. If this program looks interesting to you (or someone you know), send them our way - the next class starts on September 3rd, and we can guarantee that the weather will be cooler by then! #lineman #lineworker #lineschool #bluecollar #tradesman #electricallineman #linemantraining #linetraining

Learning in a driving school is essential because it provides structured education on traffic rules, road safety, and practical driving skills. It helps ensure that drivers acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to navigate roads safely, reducing the risk of accidents and promoting responsible driving behavior. Additionally, attending a driving school often fulfills legal requirements for obtaining a driver's license.

On about the entrance to the hand of the approach is the certificate of UTI to have had superior performance and to get that at King tech is the best to show the one to be in on the truck. On the way to know the thing is the perfect attendance and the one first is in the hand of the employer. On the most is to know there is a door to the school. About the one there it is AKA Hauling and there is a job in the way to know the construction in the day. On the all of the topic is the way to know there is a mechanic in the vein.

We know that sometimes the easiest way to learn a new skill is by trying it yourself. The hands-on portion of our Flexible FAST Rig Splatter training course gives you the ability to apply what you learned. In fact, one of our attendees had this to say "This was not just a regular class. The instructors showed us problems that could happen on the roof and taught us the solutions on the spot. It was very relatable to what actually happens on the roof." Learn more: https://ow.ly/sm9r50Qpc06

I was recently talking to an Uber driver about the importance of teaching trades to youth, and he said "we are closer to being cavemen than spacemen" meaning despite our technological progress, humans are naturally inclined to work with their hands. There's an inherent satisfaction and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating or fixing something tangible. Engaging in manual work can be therapeutic and grounding. It involves problem-solving, creativity, and physical exertion, which are crucial for mental and emotional well-being. Trades often provide this outlet, giving people a direct connection to the results of their labor. In a world increasingly dominated by technology, trades offer essential skills that are always in demand. Whether it's plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work, these professions are foundational to society's functioning. In essence, the driver's statement is a reminder that no matter how advanced we become as a society, there's a fundamental aspect of our humanity that is deeply connected to the physical, manual work that has been a part of our history since the beginning. This connection should be valued and preserved, especially in the context of educating and guiding the next generation.

I am guilty..... of "practicing" on potential new clients/opportunities. Guess what? I am not the only person to admit this. Why do some companies skip the hard work of practicing with colleagues to improve? It's essential for mastering their craft. Role play isn't just for sales; it's for anyone who interacts with others. Just 10 minutes a day can boost success in deals or interactions. While not easy, it's crucial for excellence. It's like a professional athlete only showing up for games, relying solely on luck for success—kinda like Allen Iverson. 🤣 Tommy Mello understands what it takes to be the best, why don't more people apply this to their business? It can make a huge impact.

That bit in there below about new worksheets for teachers... you'll find them here: https://lnkd.in/grkZhSHD My role was finalising these resources for publication on the Education Portal. Really satisfying content work! · Proof reading. · Making the page in Silverstripe CMS. · Organising files for the users – lots of files! So how do we group them and link to them with teachers’ ease of use in mind? · Appealing intro text that clearly explains what you get, in a few scannable words. · Using Photoshop to make that branding banner by repurposing existing visuals and checking client’s brand guidelines. · Making those drop-shadows for the preview images to the right so they lift from the page. I love doing this stuff on websites.
This week, along with Beca, we visited schools across the country to chat with kids about road safety and how they can play their part. We took traffic management vehicles and road cones, teaching students about the importance of traffic management in keeping roadworkers and everyone travelling through worksites safe. Getting involved in classroom conversations is one of the ways we can continue to promote road safety. We’ve developed new worksheets for teachers to help kids learn how to stay safe on the roads. You can find these worksheets and other resources on our education portal: https://lnkd.in/gcYY2qRQ
