Very interesting discussing the potential of toggling RF and PF, especially in areas requiring precision like the posterior wall
Affera Mapping and Ablation System with Sphere-9 Catheter How do you decide where you want to use RF versus PF? "Thermal ablation in potentially dangerous areas, like the posterior wall, often leads us to prefer PF over RF" This discussion featured within the session Persistent AF – High Density Mapping and Toggling PFA/RFC Ablation Based on Substrate performed by K.R. Julian Chun, Boris Schmidt and the great team at CCB. Joining the session we had Moussa Mansour and Professor Richard Schilling and chaired by Dr. Devi G Nair, MD, FACC, FHRS

A new study from Menglong Yu et al. at Anhui University of Science and Technology (安徽理工大学) investigated the effect of adding KH-550 to alkali-activated slag (AAS) to improve performance. The iMicro #nanoindenter was used to measure and map the elastic modulus of the resulting #microstructure in this work entitled "Enhancing the performance of alkali-activated slag using KH-550 as a multi-functional admixture."
