Before our Scottsdale interns Riley King and Quinn Carolan went back to school late last month, they partnered with the United Way to host an in-office mindfulness kit build. The team built 500 kits for underserved elementary school students including specialized coloring sheets, fidget toys, and other items to encourage mindfulness in public school programs. A huge thank you to Riley and Quinn for coordinating and shoutout to the AZ team for making a positive impact on their local community! 🌟 #Volunteer #Compassion #UnitedWay #UnlimitedVTO #Mindfulness #OneTeam #LiveARicherLife

"Have Fun, Give Back & Grow!" is not just a motto; it's a powerful philosophy. Engaging kids in The Kids That Give Back initiative transforms their playtime into a purposeful adventure. 🧠Why is this important? Joyful Learning: By incorporating fun into giving, kids absorb valuable lessons naturally. The element of joy makes the experience memorable and encourages a positive attitude toward helping others. Fostering Compassion: The quest to create gifts for community members in need instills empathy and compassion early on. Kids learn the joy of making a difference in someone else's life. Building Character: The combination of fun, giving, and growth shapes children's character. They develop a sense of responsibility, generosity, and a mindset focused on contributing positively to their community. Empowering Future Leaders: Teaching kids to give back from a young age empowers them to become compassionate leaders of tomorrow. They understand the impact they can have and grow up with a sense of social responsibility. "Have Fun, Give Back & Grow!" isn't just a tagline; it's a transformative experience that lays the foundation for a lifetime of positive impact. 🌟👧👦 #KidsThatGiveBack #FunPhilanthropy #BuildingFutureLeaders

I’m in my ✨summer camp era✨ If you haven’t lived through this era as a parent, just know that I contemplated whether I might have to sell an organ to pay for all the camps my kids wanted to attend this summer, everyone in our house is absolutely exhausted when our eyes shut each night, and I’m pretty sure these are the days I’m going to look back on most fondly in the years to come. Today was the final day of this week’s cheer camp. After a few hours of sleep, I drug myself out of bed, got dressed, and we headed back to camp for the final performance with a nervous 7 year old who was excited to perform. Each group of kids did a couple of cheers and a dance. It was seriously cute 🥰 But, as I watched each performance, I noticed something. Every. single. child. looked for their family in the stands. And every. single. child. gleamed with pride when their families screamed and clapped for them. My takeaway was this… Our kids are watching. They notice what we’re prioritizing. They’re taking in what work ethic is should and should be. They’re learning what we value most. They are absorbing what their futures might look like. But there’s only 24 hours a day, and we simply can’t do all the things all of the time. And neither will they. We talk a lot about #worklifebalance, #worklifeharmony, and putting #peoplefirst, but are we living it? Are we making this space as leaders? As organizations? We work because we need money-and, I hope, at least in part-because we enjoy what we do. But, I want my kids (and really, all of our kids) to value working hard while also realizing that life is more than the work we do. These days, I’m working hard on the clock, but I’m also working harder to be more present, setting more clear boundaries, and prioritizing this glimpse in time with my girls 💕 #parent #workingparent #workingmom #conversationsforchange #womenatwork #childhoodmemories #change #parentingtips

Let's give attention to the process, not just the outcome. Just like cheering on a child learning to walk, supporting others along their journey can make all the difference. Often, we dismiss people's efforts with cynical attitudes, overlooking the value of their journey. Recognizing and encouraging each other's processes can bring comfort and solidarity. Take a moment to support those around you, just as you would do when child taking their first steps. #SupportTheProcess #Encouragement #JourneyMatters

🌟 Hey there, amazing parents! Let's talk about something super important: celebrating our kids' unique journeys without comparing them to others! 🎉 You see, every child is like a beautiful flower 🌸 in their own garden. They bloom and grow at their own pace, and that's what makes them special! 🌟 So, let's explore some awesome methods to embrace our kids' individual progress: 🌱 METHOD #1: Nurture Their Unique Talents 🎨 Just like plants need different care to thrive, each child has their own talents and interests. 🌿💖 Encourage your child to explore what they love, whether it's painting, coding, playing sports, or writing stories. Celebrate their passions and watch them blossom! 🧩 METHOD #2: Focus on Personal Growth 🌟 Instead of comparing your child's progress to others, celebrate their personal growth and achievements. 🎉 Set goals together and celebrate each milestone they reach, no matter how big or small. It's all about their journey and the amazing things they're capable of! 🤗 METHOD #3: Encourage Positive Self-Reflection 🤔 Teach your child to reflect on their own progress and achievements. 🌟 Help them recognize their strengths and areas for growth, and celebrate the progress they've made. Building their confidence and self-awareness empowers them to shine in their own unique way! 👩👧👦 METHOD #4: Foster a Supportive Environment 🤝 Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere at home where your child feels valued and accepted for who they are. 🏡💕 Celebrate diversity and individuality, and teach them to appreciate and respect others' differences too. Together, we can cultivate a garden of kindness and acceptance! Remember, parents, comparison is the thief of joy. 🚫✨ Let's focus on nurturing our kids' individuality and celebrating their unique strengths and accomplishments. With love, encouragement, and support, they'll bloom into the incredible individuals they're meant to be! 🌟🌸 Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments, and let's inspire each other to celebrate our kids' unique journeys! 🌈💖 #learning #learningjourney #childrendevelopment #growthmindset #emotions #feelings #ParentingJourney 🌱👩👧👦💕

📝When people ask me why spending time giving back and engaging with the community is important……… Time and time again research suggest that giving back has immense benefits for not just the receiver but increasingly the givers as well. The road to being successful in any career path or industry is paved with assisting others and creating value for other people. Outside of making me a better human being, giving back to my community has provided me incredible opportunities to learn and grow in ways I could have never imagined. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR KIDS!!! Kids coming from all backgrounds have similar needs. To be loved, adored and cared for. And one great way to do that is by spending quality time with them. Spending quality time with kids, especially during activities like having dinner together, holds immense significance for their overall development. These dinner table interactions enhance social skills, emotional intelligence, and a sense of safety. Children start trusting that they can come to their parents in times of confusion. Parents serve as role models during these moments, teaching values and life lessons. If you're a young adult or a teen watching this, you once might've been this child who yearned for quality time with parents. As you grow up, you might start missing out on these simple joys that made the child inside you very happy. So engage in simple gestures like putting down devices and engaging in conversations to rekindle the joy of your inner child, strengthening family ties and nurturing a supportive foundation for both generations. If you feel like your parents don't get it, try to calmly convey to them why spending quality time is important to you. Yu-Can do it! #yucan #parenting #love #qualitytime #kids #youngadult #children #students #kindness #joy #spreadlove #spreadkindness #empowerment #youtube #youth #life #skill

🌟 Getting Positive at Work: Taking Cues from Preschoolers! 🌟 If you know me, you know positivity is at the core of who I am, so when I saw my preschooler’s recent “How can we cheer” school project, I knew I had to share for inspiration. It's amazing how often the lessons from our little ones serve as great reminders for us adults. In our fast-paced world, fostering positivity is crucial. It's about more than just smiles; it's actively lifting each other up, acknowledging achievements, and creating a supportive environment. Celebrating each other's successes, big or small, creates a ripple effect of positivity. By offering support during tough times, we empower everyone to thrive. Whether a compliment or a thank you, let's make positivity a workplace cornerstone. Together, let's create a culture where everyone feels valued and inspired. #Positivity #WorkCulture #Teamwork 🌟
