Here's Part 2 of Libby V and Associate's appeals checklist for a successful year-end fundraising campaign! 💪 Be sure to go back to Part 1 if you missed it! 5️⃣ Count the times you use "we" and the times you use "you" in your appeals. Make sure you are speaking to the donor directly by using "you" at least 5x more than "we." 6️⃣ Use 14-point font and make sure your language is somewhere around a 6th-grade reading level. 📝 7️⃣ Be sure to emphasize that you need their donation now and why. Create urgency. 🤝 8️⃣ Ask for a specific amount, a specific increase, or ask them to give monthly versus annually (i.e. $100/year to $10/month). And, ask for something specific (i.e. “Your $50 monthly donation allows us to save two additional dogs every month.”) 🙏 Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Don't fret! We've got you. Comment "🛟" below and we'll DM you info on how Libby V and Associates can help! #FundraisingTips #NonprofitSuccess #YearendCampaign #LibbyVandAssociates #NonprofitLeadership #NonprofitOrganizations

Partnerships are the foundation of every successful CAC.
We were absolutely delighted to receive a check from Medford Food Co-op last week as their chosen Positive Change recipient for May. Huge thanks to Medford Food Co-op and all the kind-hearted shoppers who made this donation possible! Being selected as the Positive Change recipient for May was an honor, and we are so grateful for the support. The funds received will go a long way in ensuring that we can continue to offer safe and nurturing spaces, as well as highly trained staff, for the children in our direct service programs. Once again, thank you for your incredible support! #ChildAdvocacy #CommunityFirst #ShopLocal

The best way to receive in abundance is to give in abundance. We have always had the mindset that the more we give, the more we get, and it's always held true. We sponsor two non-profit brands every quarter for this reason. We want to give our services to businesses we know can't afford our services, but need it. It's some of the best work we do and most fulfilling because we know, that while we play a very small role in their mission, we can at least be the voice and the brand behind getting donations and helping out their local communities. #liveinabundance #abundancemindset

A few years ago, DonationScout set out to streamline restaurant fundraisers even more with a new ePayments system. We aimed to simplify the payment process with seamless online transactions. However, we discovered that while restaurants wanted online payments, fundraiser organizations preferred traditional checks, despite initially expressing a preference for electronic donations. This aligns with Henry Ford's insight: "If I would have asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse." Often, consumers don’t know what they truly need. This led us to pivot. DonationScout is now acts as an intermediary, allowing restaurants to process payments online, while ensuring fundraiser organizations received physical checks. This experience highlights the importance of iteration in product development. At DonationScout, we embrace challenges as opportunities to innovate and better serve our partners in the community fundraising landscape.
DonationScout: Your AP team's newest crush 😍 📢 Announcing donation processing for DonationScout. You (the restaurant) send the event donation to us electronically, we cut the check. It's that simple. Schedule a demo here: https://lnkd.in/gNdGQazm

Gratitude can help make your one-time donor into a raving fan. Saying "Thank You" isn't just courtesy, it's a strategy. We all cherish feeling acknowledged and valued. Thanking your donors is the first step in building a long-term relationship. Acknowledging their contributions makes your supporters feel valued, seen, and directly connected to the impact they're helping to create. But it goes even beyond that. It cultivates a sense of loyalty and trust, which encourages continued support. Check your data. It’ll show mom was right. And saying “thank you” isn’t just the right thing to do. It results in more donations. #Gratitude #DonorRelations #Nonprofits #Fundraising #DirectMailMagic #FanBuilding #NonprofitSuccess #PersonalizedEngagement
