My Impossible, Inc - Kilimanjaro 2025 Meet Kim Skriba, a devoted caregiver, advocate, and a key member of the My Impossible Kilimanjaro team. For over 20 years, Kim has dedicated herself to caring for her son, Ryan, who was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy. Her journey as a full-time caregiver required her to give up her career, but through incredible resilience and personal growth, Kim has embraced a new mission: to inspire other caregivers to prioritize their own well-being. Kim's determination to turn the impossible into possible is evident in her decision to join the Kilimanjaro team, where she will carry a flag bearing the names of children with conditions similar to Ryan’s. She aims to show caregivers everywhere that it is possible to find balance, ask for help, and still pursue their dreams. My Impossible, Inc - Kilimanjaro 2025 The My Impossible motto is - My impossible is OUR possible. I talk a lot about the team who are taking me up Kilimanjaro next year. The one I don't talk enough about is my #1 teammate, my wife, Sandy! Today, we celebrate our 19th anniversary. She's not physically climbing Kilimanjaro next year, but again, and again, and again, she shows up, stands firm next to me and sometimes carries me. When I was diagnosed with AMN in 2006, she was scared and never waivered. When I transitioned to life in a wheelchair in 2017, she was relieved and never waivered. When I told her I wanted to climb Kilimanjaro, she was nervous and said "I'm with you!" She is my greatest support, my champion, my love. I would have no hope of climbing Kilimanjaro next year if she wasn't walking the road to Kilimanjaro with me. I love you Sandy Harmon. Forever, for always and for true.

I recently worked with a CEO who had just taken over an organization in serious dysfunction. There was no common drumbeat around values, mission, or vision. As a result, she found herself constantly trying to course-correct everyone, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by the sheer number of issues. Progress felt slow and frustrating. What she realized, and what many leaders learn, is that you can’t fix every problem individually. Eventually, your organization grows too big for you to personally manage everything. At that point, it’s time to get culture out of your head and into the DNA of your organization. The first step is getting clear on your personal values as a leader. My Impossible, Inc - Kilimanjaro 2025 I’m asked all the time how I’m training for the Kilimanjaro climb next September. I have two priorities. Drop weight to ease the burden on my team who willl be pulling me up the mountain. My goal is to lose 35 lbs by the climb. And strengthening my core and upper body to be able to lift my own weight, get out of the wheelchair, transfer and take some steps when my wheelchair isn’t feasible. The bottom line though is climbing Kilimanjaro is impossible by myself. My impossible is only possible with an amazing team around me.
