We offer retailers jewelry with a positive social & environmental legacy that aligns with their client’s modern values.
Our jewelry choices are important. A decade ago we asked the origin of our diamonds and we improved the world and the diamond industry by only purchasing conflict free diamonds. It’s now time to ask the origin of our gold. Mercury emissions from small scale gold mining are a major threat to us and to our planet. As a global partner with the United Nations, it is my mission together to eliminate them. Mercury free mined gold is the next important standard our jewelry choices can establish. While words such as “sustainable”, “ethical”, and “eco-friendly” are familiar to all of us as brands try to do their part, eliminating mercury emissions is the goal. FUTURA Jewelry only uses mercury-free certified Fairmined Ecological gold.

A most thoughtful and comprehensive article on the diamond industry by De Beers Group alumni and deeply experienced diamond man Robert Bouquet . With all the 'noise' going on in the industry at the moment, this is well worth a read. #diamonds
My full article now published in the June edition of Jeweller Magazine; with so much going on, I had to keep updating the text before it actually went to print - and then, of course....JCK was still about to happen....so the fascinating (to me) story of the future of the diamond industry........is certainly NOT over. https://lnkd.in/erC7aYH7

The high-end diamond industry involves a complex process that requires expertise, trust, and discretion. From sourcing to marketing, every step is critical to ensure the quality and value of the diamonds. Diamond brokers source diamonds from various suppliers, evaluate them for quality, negotiate with sellers, and ensure the transaction and transportation are secure. The diamonds are often accompanied by certificates from reputable gemological laboratories, which provide detailed information about their characteristics. Buyers may conduct further verification to ensure the diamonds match the agreed-upon specifications and are in the promised condition. In some cases, high-end diamonds are purchased for investment purposes or for resale, and brokers engage in marketing efforts to maximize their value. #diamondindustry #highenddiamonds #gemology #investment

Trifon believes that lab-grown diamond jewelry is a sustainable choice for the future because it offers a solution to the ethical and environmental challenges associated with traditional diamond mining. Lab-grown diamonds are created using innovative technologies in controlled laboratory environments, resulting in gems that are chemically and optically identical to natural diamonds. By opting for lab-grown diamonds, Trifon ensures that our jewelry is not only beautiful but also ethically and environmentally responsible. We believe in promoting sustainability in every aspect of our business, and lab-grown diamonds align perfectly with this vision for a better, brighter future. www.trifonjewels.com #TrifonJewel #SustainableJewelry #LabGrownDiamonds #EthicalFashion #GreenDiamonds #FutureOfJewelry #EnvironmentallyFriendly #InnovationInJewelry #ConsciousConsumption #TechDrivenFashion #EcoLuxury #EthicalDiamonds #SustainableLuxury #TechForGood #SustainableStyle #DiamondsWithoutGuilt

Viking gold from Heimdalsjordet, a Viking-Age market in southern Norway. Gold is far rarer than silver in the Viking world, but it played a key role in what was, seemingly, a tri- or multi-metallic bullion and display economy: as Jane Kershaw et al. note, gold and (often gilded) copper alloys joined (hack)silver in a complex bullion and jewellery mix. The Vikingtidsmuseet listed these artefacts (clockwise from top left) from Heimdalsjordet as: 'Pendant, possibly for a necklace Flat hammered ingot Production waste Flat hammered gold ring'
