Brillient Corporation’s Post

Brillient Corporation specialist Karen K., Associate Investigator, received recognition for their role in studying patient reported outcomes in cancer research as part of Brillient's support for the FDA Oncology Center of Excellence (OCE) and its partner National Cancer Institute (NCI) Digital Oncology Studies (DOS). To better understand the experience of cancer patients in their daily lives, Karen contributed to the publication "Generative Approaches to Registering Visible & Thermal Images of Cancer Patients for Pain Management and Clinical Understanding" with its presentation at the 26th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI) Workshop, Artificial Intelligence over Infrared Images for Medical Applications (AIIMA) 2023. The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum and Capacity 4 Health also recognized Karen's commitment to improvements in medicine and science with cancer trials and clinical care in with digital technology as an awardee of their Program Manager Training Program.
