I WISH YOU A HAPPY CUSTOMER WEEK. Seeing a suggestion box today brings back memories of its previous influence. We used to be on edge when its contents were emptied, eager to see if it would lead to praise or criticism. Now, in many offices, it’s a dusty relic, reminding us how much we've changed the way we share ideas. Though we’ve shifted to digital platforms like call centers and 24-hour feedback systems, the suggestion box once symbolized the voice of the customer. Seeing one now brings nostalgia for a time when it was the heart and soul of customer feedback. Is it still relevant for some categories of organizations today? I trully wish you a Happy Customer Week as we evolve together to serve you better.

Reminiscing on last week's YYC Customer Success Meetup (conveniently hosted at Helcim HQ)...Experiences were shared, charcuterie was eaten, and truth bombs were dropped! My personal favourite: 📣 "NPS is a company metric, not a CS metric" - Joanna Wynn It's easy to assign sole responsibility of client satisfaction to CX teams, but does that really make sense? I think NOT! NPS measures overall customer loyalty and satisfaction which covers ALL aspects of the customer journey including product quality👀, sales commitments 👀, marketing initiatives 👀, AND customer service. The broad focus means NPS reflects company-wide performance and not only the effectiveness of CX teams. So one more time, to be clear... 🗣 NPS is a company metric, not a CS metric!
