Do you have tech recruiters or managers that understand your business's tech needs? Not having them might be doing your business a disservice. Let's say your business specializes in finances and you decide to hire a data analyst with 5 to 10 years of experience analyzing large data, but zero experience with financial data. This candidate may meet all your other qualifications, but lack of experience with financial data could be a roadblock. The keyword is still data, whether it's financial, marketing, medical, or anything else. The only thing to learn is the terminology. How you analyze and manipulate it will be based on the business rules, data governance policies, and scope of the project. #techrecruiters #dataanalyst

One way to use LinkedIn to find data analyst roles is by searching for them, but not in the "Jobs" section. Go to the search bar and type in "hiring data analyst", "analyst remote", or "hiring analyst", or whichever keywords you want, and then select Posts. This would lead you to hiring managers' and recruiters' posts about analyst openings. Use this to message the manager or recruiter directly about the position, along with making the message personalized based on their profile and background. If you'd like to have these roles in one central location, feel free to check out our Jobs Dashboard in the link in the comments!

Founder of DataFrenchy Academy I Linked[in] Instructor I Sr. Analyst at Spring Health I Helping underpaid & unappreciated professionals break into data analytics
While there are many efficient ways to find data analytics jobs, I still believe there’s one option above all. And that is utilizing the LinkedIn search bar. Even when I had zero connections, I felt the one way I could stand out from others was bypassing the application process and speaking right to the recruiter or hiring manager. I’d look for posts from these people where they describe the job or give a link to apply. By using the search bar, I’d be able to search for keywords that were important to me. Some examples were: “Remote hiring analyst” “Remote data hiring” “Analyst hiring NYC” I used keywords like location, job title, and working conditions to find posts from hiring managers and recruiters. I made my personality and profile do the talking. It took many attempts to get to a point where I felt confident enough to send the message but was very much worth it!
