#newsupdate Brazilian oil and gas player Enauta is awaiting the arrival of subsea equipment, which is expected to support oil and gas production at its field development project offshore Brazil. According to Enauta, the loading of the first multiphase pumping subsea system (MPP), manufactured by OneSubsea, that will support oil and gas production at the Atlanta field, took place in Norway on January 21, 2024. The Brazilian player explains that the timely delivery of this equipment highlights one of the “key” challenges to reaching the FPSO Atlanta’s first oil production on schedule by August 2024. Enauta believes that the performance of over 80 MPPs in operation worldwide shows that this will make a difference for the Atlanta field operations. Boosting Production in Offshore Oil and Gas Fields

Azeri Central East (ACE) platform is technologically and digitally the most advanced bp-operated offshore platform, the first controlled from onshore. bp, as operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) project, announced the start-up of oil production from the new Azeri Central East (ACE) platform as part of the ACG field development in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. bp’s strategy is to invest in the energy system of today – such as in the development of ACE – as well as the energy system of the future. The ACE platform is the seventh oil-producing platform installed on the giant ACG field in the Caspian Sea. ACG first began production in 1997 and has since produced over 4.3 billion barrels of oil. The bp-operated Shah Deniz gas field has two further platforms in the Caspian. The ACE platform and related facilities are designed to process up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and the project is expected to produce up to 300 million barrels over its lifetim

Global oil and gas contract value surged 47% in Q2 2024, reaching US$54.91bn from US$37.3bn in Q1, reveals GlobalData.
