Last week, Capt. Nasir Subahrie Subahrie, Marine Industry Relationship Manager at #BritanniaSingapore, took part in an event organised by the International Group of P&I Clubs in Singapore as a member of the IG's Regional Steering Group (RSG). Nasir was pleased to network and contribute to this educational outreach initiative.
On 17th January, NTU Maritime Business Society had the incredible opportunity to deepen our understanding of mutual maritime insurance by a visit organised by the International Group of P&I Clubs to Gard AS in Singapore. We dived into claims (P&I and FD&D), underwriting and loss prevention to learn how risks are assessed and covered. The presenters provided real-life case sharing of claims handling and strategies to mitigate risks and protect assets of shipowner members. On top of that, we also had an opportunity to speak with industry representatives from Britannia P&I Club, Japan P&I Club, and NorthStandard over lunch, fostering engaging discussions and meaningful networking!
