My comment to the Billion dollar investment in solar panel manufacturing today - well intended - but just for political spin - with little real long term benefits... That train has left the station. Chinese dominance in solar panels is unstoppable. Even Tindo with the local manufacturing claim uses Chinese cells and other parts from there. Should be called local assembly. The Chinese now lead in research & volume - its like using a tiny kayak to be an iron ore transport ship. Well intended, but choosing the wrong industry.
