Ever wonder how top sales leaders, like Cynthia H., are steering their ship in 2024? In our latest B2B Pipeline Pioneers episode, "From Sidelines to Frontlines," Cynthia shares her game plan to achieving a healthy pipeline in 2024. What's her recipe? On top of managing & coaching sales reps, Cynthia believes it's important for sales leaders to also be selling. Why? The sales landscape is ever-changing. 1st hand experience allows you to experience early on what's working and what's not, and make changes. Being in the weeds, working alongside your team, builds rapport. Your team is motivated and aligned. Asking for feedback from the team is great, but it's not optimal. Receiving insights from Gong is extremely helpful, but it's not the same as experiencing the changes first hand. Are people working in sales really that different from people working in product development? 🧑💻🧑💼 Does leading these two competencies require different leadership styles? 🫵 🙌 Individual sales quotas are the norm in sales. 🤑 Team goals are the norm in product development. 👬🧑🤝🧑 Why is this? ⁉️ Why can not the same mgmt system be applied to these different teams? 🤩😓 I sparred this question with Thibaud. If sales and marketing could be put in one team with a joint quota to meet. 🗨️💬 Thibaud doesn't think it would work. 🖐️ Do you? -- Full conversation in episode 3 of 🧓#GrumpyUnclesTalks🧓 at: https://lnkd.in/dZANKvXu
