Myth Busting - Work Experience If you offer a placement you don't get given a student to take, you can interview and find the student to find who's the best fit for your business. This is a win win, you know who you're getting and the students get valuable interview experience, we all know how daunting interviews are! Extra win, if you have a staff mentor you are looking to be on an interview panel for the first time, they can also use this as practice. Summer Break! What does this mean in the education realm? Well it is the end of the school year or coming close to the end. There is a flurry of activities. There are some students frantic to get those grades in to meet requirements for promotion or for graduation. In a typical classroom, the teachers are packing up, administering final examinations, preparing report cards. Overall, there is a community of people- faculty and students waiting to exhale. Students will go off to camp/or enjoy two months of lazy days. Teachers get a chance to practice the essential self care, travel, rest, and rejuvenate. Those last 10 months! Welcome summer break.
