I always prefer the depth of a debate to the surface. That's why I am excited to be invited to participate in #CORE2024, the largest conference for real estate professionals, and to share my expert insights. However, I cannot guarantee that everyone will enjoy the perspectives I bring to the table. As I observe the market, I see the challenges the real estate market is facing today. Against this backdrop, it is interesting to watch the investment environment as the state perceives it, and what guides its decision-making when investing in new projects. Questions arise - why do investors choose other countries, why does money flow out of Lithuania, and what does the future of the Baltic region look like in this context? Sustainability is also an important issue. How it is regulated, and what do investors, clients, and banks say about it? I wonder why sustainable projects are publicly promoted but in reality, have to overcome bureaucratic obstacles.
