Hi everyone here on a beautiful sunny day at Broadstone. Haven't had many this year, but it looks like the weather's changing and we should have some sunny days coming ahead. Thought I'd do a little video today on the playing surfaces. Got medal on Saturday and the Broadstone ball on Sunday. So just take it to a few areas on the golf course and just explain a few things that we've been doing over this week preparing for the for the weekend. Thank you. Just adding on the 7th hole. Last video I mentioned about the blue dye with weed killer in it that we sprayed in the bunkers. Just waiting for the week. Die that's done great work over the last couple of weeks removing all the weeds in the bunkers. As you can see on the 7th bunker here we have no weeds now. Bunkers have got lovely flat rate face so your balls roll down into the bottom of the bunker with a Springbok finish in the base. So hopefully. I know we all don't enjoy hitting out of bunkers, but hopefully I'll make it a little bit easier for you. Really pleased with where we are at the moment with all the spring maintenance we've done 2G2 VGR hollow coring but forty ton dressing down during that time. We've put 30 tonne down since then, so 70 tonnes. Really good place at the moment. Greens are great. We've ham cut, brushed them, rolled them a couple of times this week and going into the weekend will carry on cutting and add a few more roles which will help give you the smoothness and speed and the greens you will notice that. The greens aren't too short. We're gonna be a little bit careful with the new seedlings that are coming through. They are strong, stronger than they were, but we really don't want to take them down too low and end up killing them off. But as I say, greens look excellent and I hope you really enjoy playing them at the weekend. Down here on 3rd Fair, we just wanted to say massive thank you from all the green keepers for using the mats through the winter. Really benefited the fairways and going into the summer we're in a great place with them. We've been working a little bit on this week. Now we're able to get on with the dry weather. We've recently having done a terror rate which you may have seen us out on it on the orange tractor. All it is is similar to a springtime you were doing your lawn with a lawn rake but just stands up a bilateral growth and remove any unwanted fiber. We have an affair ways but really happy with where we are at the moment. There is a few digits appearing. Obviously you're not using mats, which is absolutely fine, but we'll be out devoting and the recovery is great at the moment with this sun warm weather. Hope you enjoyed the video today.
