The SECRET to building a sustainable recruiting business? (from someone who’s run her own practice since 2019 amidst an economic crisis and pandemic) Build relationships, not just placements. Trust ↳ The cornerstone of lasting relationships ↳ Transforms professional ties into personal bonds Loyalty ↳ Keeps connections solid through highs and lows ↳ Rewards your unwavering support with their own Mutual Growth ↳ Encourages collective advancement ↳ Success becomes a shared experience When you start recruiting: - You focus on the numbers - You aim for the perfect job match - You hope to make a quick placement - You wonder if you're making a difference As your recruiting skills evolve: - You see friendships form with clients and candidates - You celebrate the journey, not just the outcome - You find joy in connections made Prioritizing relationships leads to: - Your network becoming your net worth - Establishing strong trust - Shared successes and mutual growth - Loyalty in nurtured partnerships The reward? Fulfillment: - Every placement starts a new chapter - You create a circle of trust and growth - You forge bonds beyond professional limits Some of my best friends have come from LinkedIn DMs, cold calls, conferences, etc. A few personal lessons: 1. You never know where one relationship can take you. 2. Focus on relationships. The placements will naturally follow. 3. Don’t chase the money—it will find its way to you. PS: Reflecting on the amazing friendships I've made, like with Gabriella Bar-Lavi (who I placed and is CRUSHING it) and Allie Assael (fellow supermama). Fun fact— Atwave was one of my first clients (before we both changed our names) and one of the most loyal! Throwback to earlier this summer with the girls in Nashville at LinkUnite ❤️ 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂: How has focusing on building genuine relationships enhanced your business or career?

✔️ Recruitment Business Growth & Scale Strategy ✔️ Executive Search Owners Growth & Scale Strategy ✔️ Recruitment Business Coach & Mentor ✔️ Recruitment Leadership
🔍 Wondering how recruitment agency and executive search firm owners secure their clients? So was I, which is why I recently conducted a poll on LinkedIn, and here's what the community had to say… 📊 Recruitment Agency and Executive Search Firm Owners: How do you primarily find your clients? 🤝 Referrals: 50% ❄️ Cold outreach & prospecting: 41% 🌐 Networking events: 6% 📱 Digital marketing efforts: 3% It's clear that referrals take the lead, closely followed by cold outreach and prospecting. But what does this mean for you? In essence, diversity is key. While referrals may dominate, it's essential to diversify your approach. Whether it's through networking events, digital marketing efforts, or cold outreach, each method brings its unique advantages to the table. So, here's the takeaway: Don't rely solely on one method. Instead, create a balanced strategy that leverages the strengths of each approach. By doing so, you'll maximise your chances of success and elevate your recruitment business to new heights. Join 350+ Recruiting Firms: Unlock Fast Growth and Dominate Your Market With The Relevant Recruiter Method
Legacy clients and referrals might seem like the backbone of security for your recruiting business, but here's a reality check: they're a double-edged sword. They create an illusion of security, making you feel safe until one day, you're not. The truth is, you're always just one legacy client departure away from a significant revenue shake-up. Relying solely on referrals means your business's growth is in someone else's hands. Don't misunderstand me—legacy clients and referrals are fantastic. They're testaments to your past success. But they're not foolproof. They offer a sense of security that, in reality, is as fragile as glass. The real deal? The true security for your recruiting business lies in having a predictable system. The catch, however, is that many get too comfortable with legacy clients and neglect to evolve their marketing and business development strategies. Then, when the inevitable happens and a legacy client walks away, they find themselves at square one, their once-effective tactics now obsolete. This predicament hits even the most skilled recruiting firms hard. It's a stark reminder not to fall into the complacency trap set by what seems like a steady flow of referrals and repeat business. Here's where I come in. If you're ready to break free from the illusion and build a genuinely secure foundation for your business, I'm here to help. Let's create a predictable marketing and lead generation system that keeps your firm thriving, regardless of who comes and goes. Feeling the pinch or just ready to safeguard your future? Send me a direct message. Let's ensure your recruiting firm isn't just surviving but thriving with a strategy that stands the test of time. I help Recruiters build personal brands, generate leads through 34 methods and become 100% confident in business development 🤑
If your primary source of winning business is cold outreach, read this 👇🏼 I watched a reel this morning by Leila Hormozi who said: “Lots of people work hard, but they work hard on the wrong things. Have you ever felt like you’re constantly working super hard but nothing is moving forward? It’s because you’re not taking the time to decide if you’re working on the right things, in the right order”. The first thing which sprang to my mind is: “This is exactly what recruiters do when they do cold outreach”. They focus so heavily on the action itself, but not the steps beforehand to market themselves and create brand awareness. I’m not against cold outreach (in any form), I just don’t see why you’d choose it when you can target part-qualified leads… Not only is the conversion rate at least 2x higher meaning you speak to less people but make more money, it makes recruitment far more enjoyable and less stressful. If you’re a recruiter who still actions your standard activity month-on-month with no strategy around marketing yourself, I recommend setting yourself a goal to prioritise this before Christmas. I can guarantee you will have a far more stable pipeline for 2025 🤑
