Racing with eFuels. The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will use eFuels that are potentially near-carbon-neutral from the 2024 season, the feedstock comes from the Haru Oni pilot plant in Chile. The up to 32 Porsche 911 GT3 Supercup will be fuelled exclusively with eFuels at each of the eight rounds as support to the European Formula 1 events. #efuels

Call it the dumb snub of 2024, motorsports division. As Henry Payne wrote today: "Formula One Management’s patronizing dismissal of two icons of American motorsport as “a novice entrant” with little “understanding of the scope of the challenge involved” has created a firestorm of criticism in the U.S. with potential long-term fallout." He adds “The written statement of F1 includes this conclusion: ‘We were not able to identify any material expected positive effect on (F1’s) financial results, as a key indicator of the pure commercial value of the championship,’" wrote Patrick Anderson of Anderson Economic Group, who is a Michigan economist with extensive experience in the auto sector. “If you can't find a ‘material expected positive effect’ of putting the biggest automaker in the world's biggest economy into your league, you need to find another economist.” Rejecting the American bid to add an eleventh team to the F1 circuit, Formula One managed to insult General Motors, the Andretti Racing Limited racing team, and a good chunk of Americans to boot. Very, very few of the millions of motorsports fans will ever drive a Mercedes-Benz AG, Ford Motor Company, Porsche AG, Ferrari, AUDI AG, or Honda-powered race car. A whole lot of them will drive Hondas minivans, Audi sedans, Chevy trucks, and Ford Mustangs. And, as a consequence of the snub, a lot more of them will be ignoring Formula One races in exotic locales like Suzuka Japan and Baku Azerbaijan, and instead watching college #football, #NASCAR racing, and professional #wrestling. Division 1 Superkarts are an astonishing Motorsport experience! ✔️ Open Chassis & Aero Development ✔️ Multiple Engine Manufacturers ✔️ Multiple Tyre Manufacturers ✔️ Outright Lap Records (Cadwell Park) ✔️ Top Drivers ✔️ Innovation Regrettably, over the past decade, karting has undergone a transformation into a primarily 'junior formula', resulting in a notable decrease in the average age of participants. Gone are the days when kart tracks buzzed with a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds. It's a stark contrast from the past, where everyday adults would race 250 Nat and 125 Nat on short circuits alongside competitors in 100 Britain and 100 National classes. Today, one could be forgiven for thinking presence of adult competitors in karting events was almost nonexistent. This shift poses a critical challenge, particularly for classes like Superkarts, as they risk losing their essential influx of new talent. Yet, despite this decline being somewhat hidden from view, Superkarts possess all the elements necessary to be recognized as one of the most thrilling forms of motorsport worldwide. It's a shame that such potential remains largely untapped and underappreciated.

The new season of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) starts this weekend and promises to be extremely interesting. My gaze is directed towards the Hypercar class, which has proven to be an incredible success since its introduction. Indeed, this season our improved GR010 HYBRID will be up against a record number of rivals. 19 crews in the top category, with Alpine, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Peugeot and Porsche in charge, sounds like excellent racing. For us Poles, an extra treat will be the performance of Robert Kubica. The competition will therefore be more demanding than ever, and Toyota has some bills to settle. Last season it won the world championship, but failed to win the 24h Le Mans, which is an obvious target for this year. For the new season, our race cars have not only received improvements, but also brand new colours in which they look insane. I am looking forward to this competition, as endurance racing teaches patience, perseverance and strategic thinking. Victory does not always belong to the fastest vehicle at the start, but to the one that can adapt to changing conditions, manage resources and cross the finish line first, regardless of the obstacles. This philosophy of constant adaptation and pursuit of excellence is what has driven Toyota's successes over the years 💪 And let us not forget the technological innovations being introduced in our cars, which come from the efforts of many on the track.
