On Friday, October 4th, I officially earned the MSc in Management degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. This journey has truly been a rollercoaster—marked by long, steep climbs and brief moments where the hard work eased just a little, but every step was worth it.
What made this experience truly unforgettable were the amazing people I met along the way. I’ve had the privilege of crossing paths with some of the most talented individuals from around the world, and I have no doubt that they’ll go on to accomplish extraordinary things.
In the final phase of my degree, I had the honor of working on my thesis under the guidance of Professor Claudia Mezzabotta where I was able to merge my passion for the aerospace sector with financial accounting. My research focused on the bidirectional relationship between IFRS 15 and its implications for non-financial reporting. I focused on AVIO as my primary case study, with OHB SE as the secondary. (Curious about the findings? feel free to message me to learn more!)
The hard work was intense, but I can proudly say that graduating cum laude brought a sense of fulfillment I never expected to experience.
A heartfelt thank you to Professor Mezzabotta for her unwavering support and patience—I cannot fully express my gratitude. And of course, a big thank you to the friends I made along the way, who made the entire journey even more magical.
Now, it’s time to embrace the future and start writing the next chapter. Full steam ahead—I’ve got big plans!
