🌲 Here's a cool story: The USDA Forest Service reached out to Room & Board to partner on an "urban wood" project -- transforming beautiful pine and old wood that was being demolished from row homes in Baltimore and turning it into heirloom-quality furniture. I had the chance to interview Emily McGarvey, the furniture company's director of sustainability, about this awesome program -- which has expanded across the U.S., with plans to grow even further.
