Reliable Lubrication made easier with Noria Corporation! The rules of lubrication have changed. Ensuring that lubrication excellence becomes standard practice is foundational to machine reliability. This is where LubePM excels. LubePM auto-generates tasks with step-by-step procedures and vital lubricant information, so you’ll never grab the wrong grease or miss an inspection point again. Once a task is complete, your work is documented and saved on the cloud-based system for your team to access anytime, anywhere. Consistent, well-executed lubrication tasks are essential to long-term plant operations and reliability. As a Lubrication Management System (LMS) engineered by lubrication professionals, LubePM helps an organization create accountability to ensure that every lubrication point is carefully maintained, inspected and measured. Without the enabling resource of a full-scale LMS, plants are susceptible to faulty and incomplete lubrication. The days following a major event like IMTS can feel overwhelming. After spending a week immersed in cutting-edge technology, catching up on what was missed back at the plant is often a race against time. But what if you didn’t have to worry about falling behind? With real-time machine monitoring, manufacturers could have had complete visibility of their production lines while walking the IMTS show floor. Knowing which machines were running smoothly, detecting potential issues in real time, and receiving alerts about maintenance needs could have minimized downtime and kept operations efficient—even from miles away. It’s not about catching up anymore. It’s about staying ahead, no matter where you are. #IMTS2024 #MachineMonitoring #ManufacturingExcellence #ContinuousImprovement

Collaboration and sharing of knowledge is key to growing the engineering and manufacturing sectors in Scotland. Which is why Jamie Burns and I teamed up in this webinar to combine best practices and case studies for the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland viewers. #rca #engineering #maintenance #nmis
Earlier this year, Matthew Laskaj delivered a presentation with the help of Jamie Burns (and his brilliant case studies) to provide an understanding of how implementing an effective root cause and failure analysis (RCFA) process, can help your organisation maximise equipment availability and uptime, by reducing the number of costly and repetitive failures. It was hosted by Manufacturing Skills Academy at NMIS As a member organisation of National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, we believe that collaboration and sharing of knowledge is key to growing the engineering and manufacturing sectors in Scotland. You can watch it here if you missed it: https://lnkd.in/e4b5G-PN #engineering #manufacturing #rca #failureanalysis #nmis

I help trucking companies with their regulatory compliance issues | DOT Safety & Regulations Consultant @ Fleet Regulators | Fractional Safety Manager | Founder | Logistics & Supply Chain | 3PL | LTL
As a regulatory compliance consultant, my top priority is ensuring the safe operation of commercial vehicles on our roads. Registration fraud undermines this mission by allowing unqualified or illegitimate carriers, brokers, and drivers to operate. That's why I'm closely following the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's newly announced measures to combat rampant fraud in its registration system. As reported by FreightWaves (https://lnkd.in/gWNPi2D9), the FMCSA is establishing a dedicated Registration Fraud Team to assist fraud victims and identify ways to prevent future incidents. This focused effort aims to address the widespread issue of scammers hacking the registration system to create fake companies and drivers. Registration fraud enables unsafe motor carrier operations by allowing identity theft, improper business addresses, and unqualified drivers on the road. It cripples the FMCSA's ability to effectively oversee safety compliance. The new anti-fraud measures directly target these threats to public safety. Some immediate steps include suspending online PIN resets, requiring mailing PINs to verified addresses, enabling multi-factor authentication, and scrutinizing listed principal business addresses. Longer-term, the FMCSA will contract identity/business verification services and migrate to an overhauled registration database. In my opinion, combating fraud is absolutely critical to ensuring only legitimate, qualified motor carriers are approved for operations. Illicit entities jeopardize public safety and undermine the integrity of the entire industry. I am curious to see whether these measures will prove truly effective. Fraud schemes can be sophisticated, and dedicated bad actors may still find ways to exploit vulnerabilities. What are your thoughts? Do you think the FMCSA's new anti-fraud initiatives will successfully curb registration fraud and improve safety oversight? Or are more robust security controls needed? I'm interested to hear perspectives from others in the industry. Comment below with your take on this important issue and whether the agency is on the right track. #fleetsafety #compliance #trucking #logistics #fmcsa
