The series is known for its stunning visuals, combining dramatized missions with expert interviews and real-world science.
The visual representation of Mars—its landscapes, futuristic spacecraft, and colonies—captures both the harsh beauty of the Martian environment and the technological advancements required to make colonization a reality. The cinematography is often praised for its realism and aesthetic, immersing viewers in the vast, reddish terrains of the planet while contemplating human ambition and survival in such a hostile environment.

In today’s WeeklyLT, we’re diving into the historic achievement of the first ALL-CIVILIAN SPACEWALK that took place this past Thursday. It’s an exciting moment for what the future holds.
The journey to such groundbreaking accomplishments is never a sprint. It’s often a series of calculated steps. Smaller, incremental wins are key to positioning for long-term success.
That’s exactly what Elon Musk has been attempting with SpaceX and many of his other ventures. His approach - fail-fast, learn, correct and repeat – is a blueprint for us to follow in order to reach incredible heights.
Speaking of heights, SpaceX private crew of 4 civilians, aboard Polaris Dawn, recently soared high above Earth, delivering breathtaking images and reminding us how far we’ve come in understanding life outstide of Earth.

Ten years ago, the idea of a non-government entity pulling off a feat like this – funded entirely through private means – would have seemed laughable.
Space travel is no longer the exclusive domain of government agencies. It's a clear signal that we're on the cusp of space tourism for private citizens.
The idea of humans walking on Mars also no longer feels like science fiction – it’s something I can envision occurring in our lifetime.
Beyond the thrill of exploration, there are significant ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES TIED TO SPACE. Many of the key minerals we rely upon (ie, platinum, nickel, iron and gold) are not only scarce but also incredibly expensive to extract on Earth. What if these resources could be mined from space, at a fraction of the cost and in much larger quantities? This could unlock an industry worth trillions of dollars, providing a virtually unlimited supply of rare materials and helping to stabilize Earth’s resource markets.
Additionally, the innovation driving space mining – like advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence and automation – will ripple through industries, leading to breakthroughs in technology that will benefit life on Earth as much as the exploration in space. We’ve seen this play out during the Cold War between the US and USSR (the race to land on the moon).
The possibilities are limitless. This post is simply to get your imagination soaring.
