https://lnkd.in/dREdkVd5 The Africa Digital Health Summit (ADHS) serves as a crucial platform where innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, regulators, policymakers, and development partners converge to exchange knowledge and experiences in the realm of digital health across Africa. In its recently concluded fourth edition, the summit focused on advocating for transformative changes within health systems across the continent. There were discussions around identifying common healthcare problems such as poor access to care, out of pocket payments, migration of healthcare workers, weak wealth information systems, and lack of accountability. The ADHS provided a platform to discuss these challenges comprehensively, aiming to foster innovative solutions through digital health technologies and collaborative efforts among stakeholders. Dr Niyi Osamiluyi, the convener of the summit, set the stage for meaningful conversations among participants in his opening remark. The keynote speaker, Prof. Ken Agyeman Attafuah emphasized the critical need for robust data gathering and utilization in improving healthcare services. During the fireside chat with Dr. Tunji Alausa the Honourable Minister of State for Health, he highlighted the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Nigerian government to tackle healthcare challenges through digital technology. Technology provides opportunities to leapfrog issues characterizing the African healthcare landscape.

Health Policy Forum 2024 Navigating the New Era of Health Technology Assessment in Italy I'm thrilled to be at the second meeting of the SIHTA Health Policy Forum of 2024. This year's forum tackles a critical theme: the transformative impact of the European Regulation on Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The SIHTA Health Policy Forum serves as a dynamic platform for fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders. It's a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with colleagues (and friends) from the Italian HTA community, share ideas, projects, and brainstorm future initiatives. Together, we can harness the power of the HTA Regulation to transform national healthcare systems for the better. #HTAi #HealthPolicyForum2024 #HTA #Healthcare #SIHTA
