Very satisfying making rooftops bulletproof (bullets of the water-drop variety). Practically zero maintenance and 100% confidence. Systems that work!

Yesterday we had a Board of Trustees meeting for Tigers4Ever, reviewing the financial year 2023/24 and looking forward to 24/25’s fundraising targets and priority projects. What a great bunch of people, all giving their time, skills and expertise to do what they can to help raise funds to protect wild tigers and their habitats. If you’d like to learn more about our work, the link is in the comments.

I love helping the charity sector solve problems, mainly with high value fundraising because that's what I've done since 2008. The market's tough, but looking at your governance, policies, comms and culture may help.
Those of you who know us, know how much we rate Trybooking UK and the team behind it. So much so, that they have been a recommended, 'Go To', associate partner in the Hospitality Partnership since we changed the business model in 2021 to offer a host of different expert resource on a flexible and 'as needed' basis.
This testimonial from the CEO Liz Stewart of Scotland's Garden Scheme, just dropped, and it shows how effective the Trybooking UK platform is for event and ticket sales.
But the platform offers so much more, even seating/table plans, menu choices and dietary notes, takes payment, sends itineraries etc. And guess what it's totally free to use for non-charged events and more competitive than many other platforms for charged events, oh and you only get charged on each ticket sold, so no risk or financial outlay.
Is it important for you to work with UK businesses, then yep, TryBooking are here in the UK not North America.
An amazing team to help and support you, lead by Joan Lind if needed.
Give it a go, honestly, you'll wish you had moved sooner :-)

Huge thanks to Joan Lind and her fab team at Trybooking UK for managing our ticket sales for The Garden of Cosmic Speculation this week, raising funds for Maggie's Centres and Scotland’s Gardens Scheme charities. Sold out in well under 24 hours and we really appreciated their help and advice along the way. Great service!

Our clients have helped to raise a milestone £1million for the SJP Charitable Foundation by switching to paperless correspondence. With every switch we donate £5 to the Charitable Foundation, helping to reduce our environmental impact whilst funding valuable community causes across the UK and overseas.
This means that charities like Jamie’s Farm, who run a therapeutic programme centred around farming, family, and therapy to help young people thrive academically, socially and emotionally at school, can continue making a positive impact.
Thank you to all SJP clients who have made the switch – see the difference it’s made for charities like Jamie’s Farm below: https://ow.ly/uEOR50RRoFG

Since its launch in 2021, the Coop Community Fund has supported 245 projects across the Channel Islands, with a total of almost £250,000 being donated to charities and community projects.
One of our recent recipients was 🌺Floral Forest 🌺
Floral Forest, with funding from the Coop Community Fund, collaborated with The Men's Shed Guernsey to build bird boxes. Forest Primary School then decorated the houses for the 'Fairies in the Forest' event in the parish. A wonderful example of community spirit and teamwork!
Now is your chance to get funding for a community, charity or eco project! Apply before 30 September for our Autumn Community Fund payout: https://bit.ly/3xly5Uv
If you own significant land assets and need to preserve your operating capital, donating land as a conservation easement can improve your cash flow.
If you’re a farmer or rancher making this charitable donation, you could deduct 100% of your adjusted gross income and carry forward unused contributions for 15 years.
