Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives... I have questions for companies that have already or are thinking of implementing these strategies. 🙋♂️How are you addressing DEI in your organization? 1. Do you and your whole management team understand the WHY behind your strategy? 2. How have you discussed and educated your current team about the importance of implementing a DEI strategy? 3. How have you changed your recruiting strategies? (updating where and how you advertise roles, updating your interviewing and hiring processes, reviewing and possibly correcting internal equity on the team, review and possibly correcting your employee growth plans, etc.) Let's make sure we are building the right kind of teams moving forward. Having diverse backgrounds and opinions help organizations to grow and thrive.
