🚨 NEW AUSTRALIAN DATA 🇦🇺 In May 2022, Professor Anne Bardoel and I surveyed 1,200 Australian knowledge workers about their hybrid work habits, in what was the first study of this type after the last Covid lockdown restrictions were lifted in Australia. In May 2024, we ran the survey again, to learn what has changed in the first two years after the pandemic. We’re still in the process of analysing this data, which will hopefully appear in a series of academic papers at some time in the future, but it seems a shame to sit on the data for that long... so we plan on releasing a few sneak peaks at some of our findings on LinkedIn. This first insight confirms that hybrid work has grown in Australia over the past 2 years - from 55.8% of eligible FT workers to 72.5% - whilst the number of those working full time from the office and full time remotely have both fallen. ❓ Do these figures surprise you or confirm what you already thought?
