The number of people becoming victims of swindle scams is getting out of proportion and is becoming a societal threat to trust and stability. Kai Roer, CEO of Praxis Security Labs, discusses the implications of cybercriminals applying AI to trick humans into giving away money, while the security industry is struggling to keep up. Roer said that "Humans are not built to deal with the level of sophistication of the current and future waves of AI-driven swindles". He goes on to explain that he believes the industry as a whole needs to change their approach in order to combat this new and growing threat to society.
