We loved to kick off a new learning journey with this lovely team! Starting with the first chapter entitled "Managing the Unknown", we looked at why learning requires people to get out of their comfort zone, how feedback helps to reduce blind spots (Johari Window) and what strengths each team member brings to the table. Equipped with a better understanding of how to leverage these strengths, it will be easier to deal with ambiguity going forward. Participants especially enjoyed the 'learning by doing' approach, gaining new insights from several interactive activities and practice exercises followed by collective reflection moments. Now moving towards the second chapter focused on "Stakeholder Management". Looking forward to the next session in a couple of months! #gaiainsights

Here's something to consider: Pushback as feedback. Have you experienced any division around talking about diversity and inclusion within your organization? Some organizations are more along the trajectory than others, but the thing is that this pushback that's happening is actually really valuable information. It's showing us where the holes are, and it's showing us these areas of where we can improve. I used to work for a head of HR who'd say feedback is a gift, and it was a positive spin on when people would push back on something. They're giving us free information on how we can improve. When we keep removing the excuses and keeping inviting people into the work and keep being that place where people can land, can learn, can listen, can be seen, there's opportunity. There's hope.
