BTD Manufacturing was honored to participate in the student-led career conference at Lakeville North High School, where our very own Taylor Meyer represented us on the panel. Taylor shared valuable insights into career opportunities in manufacturing and how students can navigate their futures with confidence. We’re inspired by the leadership and vision these students displayed, and we’re proud to be part of initiatives that foster career exploration and empowerment. Together, we’re helping build a stronger, more innovative workforce for the future. #EmpoweringFutures #BTDManufacturing #CareersInManufacturing #Leadership

I really like this learning outcomes-based approach to career advising, establishing NOT what any interaction or program will provide, but which actionable outcomes it will activate. So anything from an advising session to an online resource can lead to specific take-away assessments such as "After this ---, I am able to identify two values to incorporate in my professional summary."
I appreciate the The Career Leadership Collective's blog post on Career Learning Outcomes. At Smith College, we are working to embed learning outcomes into multiple cross-campus surveys, and we have benefitted from the Collective's thought leadership on this. https://lnkd.in/g2RnkxEE
