#Token2049 pushed Enflux outside the comfort zone: we hosted our side event with BTSE, and it was amazing ≈ 1,000 sign ups with only 80 slots available. So we choose to go with our established partners and clients. Location of the event played a crucial role as well: we rented Dallas Caffe on the first floor of the MBS. People could easily cross it from north to south and east to west, which kept conversations flowing. Even as the event approached its conclusion, the owner of the venue—a very experienced and astute manager—allowed walk-ins. I’m not sure what his strategy was, but it was a brilliant move, as many of those attendees also participated in the main event, where my team and I connected with them. As a result, we maintained our priorities while also engaging with as many individuals interested in our event as possible. The next few days were more relaxed compared to the peak load of the main days, and we took a moment to recharge before heading to the team meet-up in Bali.
