35 million euros for sustainable biotechnology: An international consortium consisting of Evonik's venture capital unit, BOLD, the venture capital fund of L'Oréal and DTCF | DeepTech & Climate Fonds as well as Clay Capital fka VisVires New Protein, ICOS Capital and LIBERSET has invested in Abolis Biotechnologies. The French company develops customized solutions based on microorganisms to support the industry on its way to more sustainability. Abolis will use the funding to accelerate the research and development of innovative biomanufacturing and microbiome solutions. Evonik - with its Care Solutions Business Line - as well as L'Oréal and Abolis also agreed on a new industrial partnership.
