Since starting Joshua James, our (James Pickles & myself) business direction has changed drastically. In the beginning, we didn't really know which way to drive the business; we only knew to sell doors and screens. This initial approach worked great and brought us to where we are today. Along the way, we met some key individuals who completely changed our perspective and helped us realise the right focus for driving the business. Since then, Joshua James has transformed for the better. The last six months have been pivotal, with new staff members joining, obtaining larger premises, and something monumental on the horizon that I can't quite talk about yet. I genuinely believe we wouldn't be the company we are today without meeting and speaking to these individuals. An Even Brighter Future Ahead Jacob Thomas Associates Ltd was incorporated just over sixteen years ago. A business born out of the belief that we really were ‘working towards a brighter future’ - our strap-line since 2007. One which seems to have been adopted by many others recently, but ours has history and belief behind it and is more than just words. Naming the business after our two sons has put meaning to our business. It gives us a reason to pick up the phone and go that extra mile. It hasn’t been the easiest of journeys, a wealth of evolution, learning and personal sacrifice has taken place, resulting in our business model today. Our approach has always been to ask simple questions of ourselves; ‘What can we do better?’ ‘How do we make Jacob Thomas Associates the best place to work for everyone?’ and simply using our values and moral compass: ‘What is the right thing to do?’ We have worked with some fantastic people and it has always been our goal to share our dreams and likewise, we have welcomed them sharing their dreams with us. Not all have shared our vision, but today we put our money where our mouth is! We are delighted to share the news that following many years of hard work, commitment, dedication, values, goals, expertise… the list goes on, we have decided to expand our leadership team and move to the next stage of growth.
