At Kami Vision, we’re proud to be at the forefront of innovation in senior living. Partnering with industry leaders like Sabra Health Care REIT, Inc., we’re continuously identifying and supporting Health-tech solutions that improve the quality of care for residents. KamiCare's AI-driven fall detection technology has made significant strides in resident safety. With KamiCare, Ignite Medical Resorts reduced falls in their senior communities by 20% in 6 months as featured in Sabra Healthcare REIT's 2023 Sustainability Report: "KamiCare is a sophisticated and automated AI fall detection technology that helps caregivers identify hazards in unwitnessed falls, detect unintentional self-lowering as a precursor to future falls, and identifies physical limitations that require care plan adjustments. This allows caregivers to be more informed, proactive and better equipped to respond faster and prevent these high-risk injuries. For example, at Ignite Medical Resorts, [KamiCare's] Bed Exit feature that alerts caregivers when patients are exiting their bed has resulted in a reduction in falls from 28% to approximately 8% and has sustained these levels over a half-year period." See the full report here: https://lnkd.in/gMTCux5q We're proud to be a featured Sabra Health-tech partner, helping staff members to more easily detect changes in residents earlier, reduce adverse outcomes and make better decisions. With support from Tim Fields, KamiCare and Ignite Medical Resorts are shaping a future where technology and compassionate care converge to create a safer and healthier environment for seniors. #seniorliving #healthtech #innovation #fallprevention #AI #KamiVision #SabraHealthcareREIT

It’s imperative to have a culture of health and wellbeing in order to support and embrace healthy behaviors within workplaces and beyond. It’s the right thing to do and helps manage healthcare costs and company performance.
Building workplace cultures of health and well-being is a journey many thought leaders have embarked on long before HealthNEXT. The book 'Building a Culture of Health: A New Imperative for Business' by John A. Quelch and Emily C. Boudreau offers a robust model for companies committed to making positive contributions to the health and well-being of their workforce which creates a competitive advantage in the marketplace. This aligns perfectly with HealthNEXT's mission to transform workplaces into environments where health is at the forefront. 🌱 #CultureOfHealthandWellbeing #HealthNext #PublicHealth

Last week I had the pleasure of hosting an amazing dinner with Team8 and an incredible group of #HR and #BenefitsLeaders focused all around #EmployeeHealth. The networking and panel discussion with Dror Grof Demetrios L. Kouzoukas and David Stark, MD, MS was incredibly insightful. I came away from the dinner with a few key take aways: 1. Unsurprisingly, reducing the cost of employee health without impacting the quality of care remains a top priority for HR and Benefits Leaders 2. Counter-intuitively, reducing cost is not necessarily the top reason companies are switching from fully insured to self insured. Control and visibility of healthcare utilization is a major driver. 3. HR and Benefits leaders are thirsty for more data on how employees are utilizing the benefits and healthcare they are providing, and even more thirsty for a link between utilization and outcomes (ie. cost of care). Putting these things together and observing how the business of healthcare has evolved in US, I predict that over the next few years large employers will move even further into managing their employees health (for better or worse), and new companies will be built as enablers to that end. As a side note: I'll be attending #HLTH in Las Vegas next month with the Amir Lewkowicz , Dror Grof and Assaf Mischari. DM or Leave a comment if you're interested in meeting up!
