Estonian startup eAgronom has raised €10M. The money was raised in Series A2. The startup was launched in #Tallinn in 2016 by Robin Saluoks and Kristjan Luha. EAgronom develops a comprehensive #SaaS solution for agricultural land management. The platform helps farmers to reduce bureaucratic procedures and store all data related to crops and sowing in an organized way. The round includes €4,2M raised in a booster round in 2023, which has now been converted into equity, and an additional €5,8M raised in 2024. Swedbank AB led the round with a €4M investment. Three investors who participated in eAgronom's convertible round last year - Icos Capital from the Netherlands, Czech Soulmates Ventures, and Estonian SmartCap Green Fund - have increased their investments to support the company's growth plans. The investments raised will be used to expand eAgronom's presence in key markets and to scale the startup in various sustainable agriculture programs. Many people who came into this agritech startup business, have never done farming in their life. Understanding plant physiology is most important thing to develop any Tech project. With the available technology they are only interpretating the the data with algorithms to generate results. The outcome is far beyond the reality and not able to solve the problem at field level. I didn't find any application which can differentiate leaf spots and blights between fungal and bacterial. Another one such tech failure is Drone Technology. The flight module itself is wrong which should be used in such applications. Instead of LALE ( Low Altitude Low Endurance) module, HALE ( high Altitude and Low Endurance ) has been approved and all the companies are forcibly buying and assembling them.
