Let me simplify leadership for you. Good Leadership fundamentally boils down to ONLY 2 traits - 1. Love 2. Respect The first one : earning the love of your subordinates is relatively easy IF - you are a genuinely good-hearted person, you take your team out for parties, your team knows that you want the best for them, etc. The 2nd trait is the one where most leaders fail. Earning genuine respect is hard. Your team will respect you only when you teach them something EVERYDAY. BUT Here’s the challenging part : In order to teach people something everyday, you must yourself be learning something EVERYDAY. And this is where it gets challenging for most people. Very few individuals are willing to commit to a life of everyday learning. #leadership #teambuilding #learningculture

3 tips to help 1.) People are more engaged in their work when they understand how they fit into the bigger picture. Leaders, spend time here so that people understand how important their work is. 2.) Create an environment where people can ask questions, as well as pose ideas and suggestions. People actively involved in solving problems are far more motivated and energetic 3.) Recognize success. Make sure you give people credit where it is due. On the other side of that, help guide people through mishaps. Dwight D. Eisenhower was an exceptional leader who demonstrated remarkable ability in leading and influencing people not under his direct command. As the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force during World War II, Eisenhower had to coordinate and lead troops from multiple nations, each with their own commanders, cultures, and interests. Eisenhower's success in this challenging role can be attributed to several key leadership qualities. He was known for his likability, optimism, and ability to build strong personal relationships with his colleagues. He prioritized teamwork and demanded that everyone work together honestly and fairly, regardless of nationality or cultural differences. Eisenhower was also skilled at managing the egos of other leaders and getting them engaged in a common cause. He subjugated his own ego and focused on the mission, always taking his job seriously but never himself. His selfless dedication to the task at hand allowed him to effectively coordinate the efforts of multiple armies, navies, and air forces to achieve victory in Europe. After the war, Eisenhower continued to demonstrate his ability to lead and influence as the first Supreme Commander of NATO.
