Very exciting to see how a modular design concept such as DC-SCM benefits enterprise customers to employ OCP-developed gear! The promise of Win/Win realized! As part of the modular building block architecture (MBA), datacenter-ready, secure control module (DC-SCM) includes baseboard management (BMC) and root of trust (RoT) for security which are normally specific to a datacenter requirement. Different enterprise, hyperscale, and edge datacenters have various management and security requirements, while they normally have the same computational requirements for Host Processer and Memory Module (HPM). Clearly delineating the two modules with a standard interface (DC-SCI) and letting multiple suppliers build to the same interoperable solution have helped not only the suppliers but also the customers. Yesterday, RCB qualified for the IPL Playoff 2024! It got me thinking about the journey of a CA student. It's quite similar to the journey of the RCB. Every year, we give our best effort, and yet many of us face failure in the exam. Each year, non-CA students often troll us, suggesting that CA is not for everyone and that we should consider an MBA instead. Every exam feels like a knockout match because failing just one exam means saari mehnat paani main 😭 But we BELIEVE. Even if our probability of clearing the exam is just 5-10%, we still strive to give our best. We hold immense respect for CAs, just as RCB holds for the IPL trophy. And when we finally succeed, everyone celebrates with us and starts supporting us. Here's hoping that this year RCB wins the IPL, and in the upcoming attempts, we all clear our respective CA exams.
