When neighbors help neighbors, our community can be an amazing source of strength. Neighbors helping neighbors is how Clare Housing got started in 1987. While the needs of people living with HIV have changed over the years, one thing hasn’t changed: our belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. On Give to the Max Day, Minnesotans come together to support the organizations and causes we hold dear. It's a time to show your dedication to the things that matter most to you! Early giving for Give to the Max Day is already underway and is the best way to maximize your impact. The more donations we receive between now and Nov. 21, the more likely we are to win additional prize grants from GiveMN. https://lnkd.in/eUNSPpX #gtmd24 #givetothemax

Hello everyone! I’ve recently decided to join a bike rally, for a cause that’s near to my heart🚴. We will be raising funds for HIV non-profit organizations. Even though I joined late, with less time to fund money than the usual, I'm really excited to be a part of this. Our team, ‘Spice Gears’ (hot reference for the 90’s kids🔥) is just trying to raise as much money as we can to support these organizations and their crucial work. These non-profits provide vital support and services to those affected by HIV/AIDS, those who need food, wellness care, peer support or just to be in a place that is welcoming and safe for them. Every contribution makes a significant difference. All contributions will be directly and safely deposited to People With AIDS Toronto Foundation (https://lnkd.in/eNz6Cxpy). For more details, click on the link below👇🏼 I'm making this post in order to ask for your help, and reach as many as possible, so please share this with friends, family, colleagues, and anyone you think would be willing to make a difference. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards supporting these organizations. If you’re able to contribute, it would mean a lot to me, our team, and those who will benefit from these services. You can donate directly through this link 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eQyMibM9. Thank you so much for your support, or even for sharing this goal! #fundraising #fundraiser #support #donate #teamwork #cause #everydonationcounts #everydonationmatters #giveback #pwatoronto

Hi #everyone #linkedinfamily #humanitarians As you know lately, we have been facing a problem with water as our main source of water dried up, and the increasing number of needy children/orphans due to alcoholism, domestic violence, HIV/AIDs, child labor, and so on. We were left with no choice rather to launch a fundraising campaign. We strongly believe your assistance is going to help us to seal off all the challenges we have been facing for many years. Fundraising is going to help us to:- Clear school fees, secure scholastic materials for children, Putting a fence at the shelter we have to provide security for the growing girls and safeguard them from threats of rape and defilement from gangsters within the community, solving the problem of water, and buying land to establish a huge and standard orphanage home will be achieved. Therefore, we present you with an opportunity to show your generosity and make a difference. If you can't assist directly, a simple REPOST/SHARE can go a long way. Someone in your network, family, or a friend might be able to help. Let’s come together to support those in need.:- Donate to:- 🔗 https://gofund.me/a29f8630

Project Weber/RENEW (PWR) is #RhodeIsland’s largest peer-led harm reduction and recovery organization. We provide essential services for individuals who have been systemically pushed to the margins—those at risk of overdose, living with or at risk for HIV/Hep C, experiencing homelessness, current/former sex workers, and gender-diverse and trans people. We build meaningful relationships, offer peer-led support, and fight for systemic change. We’re also proud to be opening the nation’s first state-sanctioned Overdose Prevention Center in the coming weeks—an essential step in saving lives. With so much at stake, we need your support more than ever. This year’s theme, "Everyone Has a Story," reflects our commitment to helping individuals live with safety, dignity, and hope. Your donation will provide harm reduction supplies; basic needs resources like water, food, and clothing; peer support; and for those who choose it - recovery services, empowering our clients to live safely on their terms. Thanks to a $50,000 matching gift, your donation will be doubled. Please consider donating today and help us continue this life-saving work: https://lnkd.in/eqrfjTfU #GivingTuesday #HarmReduction #CommunitySupport #PeerSupport #OverdosePrevention #TransSupport

On June 29th I'll be running the pride & remembrance run 5K to help raise money for some really incredible organizations. I have a goal to finish the run :) and also to raise $1K for charity. The benefactors of funds raised include the Pride and Remembrance Foundation that provides financial support to benefit the 2sLGBTQ+ commmunity as well as 4 incredible organizations: AndThenIWasFree who exists to show folks they're not alone, and that everyone can be free. Their focus Mental health, addiction, and identity support and education for youth and Indigenous communities across Canada. Durham Alliance Outreach is dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering inclusive communities through education and support. They provide transformative workshops and lectures focusing on essential life skills like self-esteem, confidence, and communication, particularly catering to the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Durham. Rainbow Faith and Freedom is a multi-faith Movement to secure inclusion and affirmation for 2SLGBTQI+ people around the world by ending religious-based homophobia and transphobia. They believe a person’s religious beliefs are part of their intersectional identity. And so, if religious-based homophobia and transphobia is not directly confronted, the world will remain an unsafe space for 2SLGBTQI+ folks. A religious problem requires a religious response. Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA) a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging people living with HIV/AIDS in enhancing their health and well-being through practical and therapeutic support services and broader social change and inspiring them to live into their dreams and discoveries. Services provided by the PWA include housing support, financial assistance, healthcare and wellness programs, advocacy and education and community outreach.

Sunday afternoon, I had the honor of attending a fantastic fundraiser for North Central District Allied Connections (NCDAC) as we kicked off our new CommUNITY Care Fund! 🎉 We had an amazing turnout, and I’m so grateful to everyone who came out to show their support. This fund marks an exciting new chapter for NCDAC, allowing us to broaden our services and offer essential and specialty support to individuals across 12 counties in North Central PA. Through the CommUNITY Care Fund, we’ll be able to assist with critical needs like rent, transportation, food, wellness care, bills, clothing, appliances, and furniture. We’re also thrilled to expand access to gender-affirming care, supporting life-changing services such as legal name changes and more. NCDAC has long been a lifeline for individuals living with HIV, and as we expand our reach to offer preventative services like STI and HIV testing, we are working to ensure accessible, inclusive care for everyone. We’re incredibly excited to see how the CommUNITY Care Fund will help us build healthier, more supportive communities. 💙 This got me thinking: How do you give back to your community? Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or supporting a cause you’re passionate about, I’d love to hear how you spend your time giving back. Drop a comment and let’s share some ideas on how we can all make a difference together!
