𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻... 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹 SR partners Anna Shapiro and Nick Ffoulkes have co-written a piece on the practice’s connection to Bristol, and how post-industrial sites such as Mead Street, Temple Mead Quarter, are fertile ground for innovation, ingenuity and new perspectives on communities. “Imagine a place rejuvenated in partnership – collective action that welcomes the convergence of home, work, culture, shopping education. A place free of mono; a place that champions the power of poly. A place built by reconnecting people – councils, developers, consultants, and the public – to find common ground and mediate tension about what the future looks like.” Read the full piece here:

If you are an architect, if you are firm owner, if you find yourself dreaming of starting a firm, if you are a student and you want to learn more about how the business side of the profession is run. If you are even just curious about how you might do one thing better then you need to attend this conference. Even better than all of that is the wonderful, supportive community. You will find yourself in conversation with other architects / firm owners having coffee in the morning, or maybe a drink after the sessions are completed and you will hear about how those people overcame struggles with their practice, you can share stories and learn some new things you can try. Those people that you meet and talk to then become resources for you in the future of your firm. We are all here in this community and are accessible and want to help each other. This is not just about immediate improvements in your business, but lifelong sustained connections and growth. But if you wait to register, and it sells out and you end up kicking yourself for not taking action sooner then you have no one to blame but yourself. Stop what you are doing right now and go register. It will be the best decision you make this year.
If you are a small firm architect, please don't miss this. This conference is very different than the others. Here's why you should make it a priority to attend. At The EntreArchitect Community Annual Meeting 2024, we’ve taken a unique approach to selecting our speakers. We didn’t start with names. We started with you—our community—and the topics that matter most to you as small firm architects. We carefully crafted a framework of what we need to learn and who can best teach it. Each speaker was chosen for their expertise and because their message is essential for your success. This event isn’t like any other. It’s not just about learning from experts; it’s about connecting human-to-human—friends supporting friends, peers sharing and lifting one another up. The magic happens when we come together as a community. That’s where the real power lies, and it's an extraordinary experience you don't want to miss. This conference was designed because of you and for you. It quite literally would not exist without you. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive alongside others who understand your journey. Join us in Nashville, October 23-25. We’re saving you a seat. Yesterday, we kicked off a series of thought leadership events revolving around the “𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗲𝘀” initiative by the NYC Department of City Planning We hosted an impactful virtual roundtable event focusing on this transformative initiative that aims to reshape NYC’s urban landscape by converting underutilized office spaces into residential units, addressing the housing shortage, and creating vibrant, livable communities. Our esteemed panel was led by the amazing Edith Hsu-Chen, Executive Director of NYC Department of City Planning, with participation of Brian Tormey, NTP from TitleVest and First American, David Rosenberg from Rosenberg & Estis, P.C., and our very own CEO and Co-Founder Avi Aflalo. We showcased how, through our innovative 3D platform, transit-oriented development and town center zoning (Just 2 examples from the “City of Yes” robust initiative) can be contextualized, visualized, and ultimately planned with just a few clicks. It was exciting to demonstrate how our technology can revolutionize urban planning and development. The Q&A session featured some very insightful questions that significantly enhanced the understanding of the "City of Yes" initiative among NYC real estate professionals. Thank you to everyone who joined and participated in this super important discussion! We look forward to continuing these important conversations while driving innovation and shaping the future of NYC’s urban landscape with our groundbreaking 3D platform for urban planning.
