𝗡𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲: We need more VidSummit recaps! 𝗠𝗲: VidSummit was wonderful, and I'd sum it up by saying it gave me the opportunity to do three things (skip straight to my Live, Love, Laugh inspired image if you don't want to read this): 1️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲 - quite literally, you just run into people at VidSummit that you wouldn't otherwise. Should I talk to Lauren Schnipper more regularly? Yes, for sure. Was it nice that we had a built in opportunity to chat at dinner on Wednesday? Also yes. 2️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 - don't get me wrong, I love working remotely, but there is something undeniably powerful about spending time with people outside the constraints of a 30-60 minute Zoom / Meet. 3️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 - I could fill several LinkedIn posts with the amount of times I was involved in, or overheard (eavesdropped) on conversations where the outcome was "Yes, we should totally do something together." I love the way this industry is so willing to find ways to have 1+1=3.
